Bistró del Mar by Hostal Empúries with a magnificent view of the sea, offers a menu based on Mediterranean cuisine through three axes: quality, innovation and sustainability. Through its own garden and a careful selection of local products, the restaurant’s menu seeks to combine the best flavors of the Mediterranean and the Costa Brava with the ecological and circular philosophy that surrounds the entire Hostel.
This gastronomic offer can be enjoyed in three different spaces: The main hall of Bistró del Mar, a bright informal room open to the sea; the intimacy and sophistication of Villa Teresita, also with sea views, and the terrace on the seafront

Thermopolivm: Flavours of Emporiae
In the ancient Greco-Roman world, a *thermopolium*—from the Greek *thermopōlion*—was literally "a place where something hot is sold": a commercial establishment where ready-to-eat food could be purchased.
At Hostal Empúries, we have once again revived this tradition with the "Sabors d'Emporiae" (Flavors of Emporiae) concept. From Friday to Sunday, between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM, our own unique *Thermopolivm* serves as a culinary space where guests can discover Greco-Roman cuisine. To recreate these dishes, the team at Aion Culinary drew upon various historical sources, reinterpreting the recipes using contemporary culinary techniques adapted to modern tastes.
The menu, designed around the concept of light bites, offers a journey into the past.
La Terraza
Sea, sand and tramontane wind merge into Hostal Empúries terrace. A magical place where you can enjoy unique views as well as our gastronomy. Designed by interior designer Pilar Líbano, our terrace offers both a table area and a lounge space where you can relax and take or drink something.
